I grew up in Houston, Texas. I attended Texas A&M University, then moved out to California to earn my Master's Degree in Psychology (Emphasis in Counseling) at Chapman University in Orange. I worked as a social worker for a foster family agency for 5 years during and after graduate school while gaining the required hours of experience for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Upon obtaining my license in 1997, I worked at psychiatric hospitals until starting my own private practice in 2000. I love what I do! Each new client brings a new story with a new challenge and hope for peace, restoration, and happiness.
